Today it was about time to try for a third time to climb our local mountain called Sukkertoppen. Our previous two attempts were rather embarrassing and we did never reach the top. Jesper (a friend of Vegard and I) is currently in town, and we decided that was a perfect reason to give Sukkertoppen a third try.
This time the conditions were very well: no wind, easy ice, great weather,... so we made it to the "pre-top" which is visible from town. There we met Fred (our safety responsible at UNIS) who recommended a nice round trip in stead of just decending the way we came up.

The real top of Sukkertoppen with two ptarmigans (also often called tasty birds).

FINALLY: We made it :D Fred showed us the small book they have at the top where you can write your name and the date of when you made it up.

From the top we walked along the rig and then decend back to town through the valley as Fred had suggested.
