End of the IPY run at the EISCAT Svalbard Radar
On friday, 29th of February it was finally about time to end the 1 year (more or less) continuous IPY (http://www.ipy.org/) run of the ESR :-)
Tony, Espen, Martin, Lisa, Jeff and I went up to the site to turn off the radar :-)
